TITLE: JOHN CAGE’S MUSICIRCUS, 7′

OVERVIEW: A chaos of sound and silence. A document and distillation of the event inspired by and celebrating John Cage. Taking place at London’s ENO it featured 170 performers including Led Zeppelin bassist John Paul Jones. The event was curated by award winning Proms-commissioned composer Stephen Montague. Montague worked with Cage in Europe for fifteen years, touring with him and premiering several of Cage’s works.
